✨ August Update from The Collective ✨
This past month has been full of impact and connection in our community!
👨👩👧👦 Community Impact
- We helped host a resource fair with over 900 people in attendance and gave away more than 400 backpacks.
- Huge thanks to our friends in G2 who jumped in to organize supplies and stuff backpacks, we couldn’t have done it with out you!
💬 Family Impact
- Our Spanish group learned about the importance of family communication and healthy communities. (Plus—they discovered charcuterie boards… which were a big hit! 🧀🥖)
- Heard from a guest speaker on literacy and parenting, and had some fun crafting together.
🎒 School Impact
- District 45 kicked off school on August 13, and we’ll be meeting with principals over the next couple of weeks to finalize fall programming. If you want to get involved this year we have space for you:)
🙏 Prayer Request
Please pray with us as we begin volunteer recruiting for fall—that God would provide the right people to step into these opportunities to love and serve our schools and families.
