🌞 June Update from The Collective 🌞
Summer is officially here—and The Collective has been in full swing!
☀️ Community Impact: Camp Edition!
We could go on and on about how amazing camp has been this year. From building robots and painting masterpieces to epic soccer and dodgeball matches, our kids have used their creativity, energy, and joy in full force.
Camp is one of those things both students and volunteers look forward to every year. It’s so fun while it’s happening—and honestly a little sad when it ends. A huge highlight this summer was watching our student leaders step up and take real ownership in serving at elementary camp. They were incredible!
And during Bible time, we shared stories that many kids had never heard before—yet by the end of the week, they were confidently retelling them to each other during “Tell It” day. It was powerful.
We’re so grateful for our partnership with Hope Church, the space we get to use, and the chance to share the love of Jesus with our campers each day.
🏊♂️ Camp Family Pool Night:
Over 100 people came out for a night of swimming, snacks, and connection. Families had fun, built relationships, and some of the best conversations happened poolside.
👨👩👧👦 Family Impact:
Our Wednesday Family Nights have been full of creativity and connection—BBQs, flower arranging, volcano explosions, and team-building fun.
💪 More Community Love:
- Spanish workout classes launched Tuesdays, meeting a major need for wellness spaces in Spanish. Huge thanks to Emmy Sathy for leading the way!
- We also partnered with New Hope for an outdoor movie night—a sweet summer evening of popcorn, blankets, and community under the stars.
🎉 While our big summer programs are winding down, we’re still in the community—meeting with families, checking in, and continuing our weekly family nights.
Thanks for cheering us on, praying, volunteering, and supporting this work.
We really couldn’t do it without you! 🧡
