As May comes to a close, we’re reminded that while we always hope things slow down before Summer Camp launches, that isn’t usually how it works! This month was full of opportunities to love and serve our community, and we’re so grateful to be part of what God is doing in Villa Park.
🌸 Community Impact
Two local organizations blessed our moms this Mother’s Day by hosting a dinner and a brunch. From karaoke and dancing to thoughtful gifts and meaningful conversations, our women felt celebrated and loved.
We also hosted another Ropa de Cambio (Clothing Exchange) in a new location. So many volunteers helped make this night possible—from sorting and hanging clothes to preparing food and helping women shop. It was a wonderful evening of fun, connection, and dignity.
❤️ Family Impact
Our Spanish Bible study wrapped up for the year, and it was such a sweet season. The women continue to show curiosity about Jesus, ask thoughtful questions, and genuinely enjoy being together.
🏫 School Impact
Before the school year ended, we were able to stock the pantry at North Elementary one more time to support local families.
We also gathered for a Volunteer Celebration, where we shared stories, celebrated wins, and looked ahead to another year of serving together.
☀️ Coming Up
Summer Camp launches June 2! Please be praying for our campers and volunteers. Pray that kids would have an incredible week, build meaningful relationships, and be curious about Jesus as they hear Bible stories and engage in discussions.
Our Spanish family activities also begin in June—a season filled with fun, laughter, and opportunities to build deep and lasting connections.
