January has been a really fun and meaningful month in PKVW Students, and we’re grateful for all that God has been doing in and through our middle school and high school ministry.
As we kicked off the new year, our students jumped right back in with great energy. From intense dodgeball games and gym nights to hanging out together during Bears playoff watch parties, our spaces have been full of laughter, excitement, and connection. These moments of fun have been such an important part of helping students feel like they belong.
Alongside the fun, we’ve been walking through our Louder series, learning how to hear from God through prayer, Scripture, and community. It’s been encouraging to see students open up, ask real questions, and grow in their faith together.
Sunday mornings and Sunday nights have continued to be a place where students build friendships, feel supported by caring leaders, and experience God in a real way. Whether it’s during small groups, worship, or just hanging out before and after programs, meaningful conversations are happening every week.
One of the highlights of this month has been watching our Student Leadership Team come together to share what they’re hoping for in the ministry this year. From fun events to meaningful conversations around hard topics, it’s been encouraging to hear their input and learn how we can best serve and support them.
We are so thankful for our amazing volunteers who faithfully show up and invest in the next generation. Their love and commitment make all of this possible.
As we look ahead to February, we’re excited for what’s coming next, including Encounter Night and our Super Bowl Party. We’re grateful for the continued prayers and support of our church family as we continue pointing students to Jesus.
