- How can Jesus be both a stumbling block and a cornerstone/foundation? Why do you think this is? Have you found this to be true in your experiences?
- What implications does the resurrection have on your theology? On your everyday life? Have you ever thought of the resurrection as a “crisis” before?
- Think of how you typically hear “Gospel presentations.” Do they start with humans or with Jesus? What is the difference between the two approaches? How might the “Jesus first” approach change people’s view and/or response to the Gospel?
- What does it mean for you to be considered a “priest?” How can you fulfill your role as a priest?
- How is the Gospel both radically inclusive and radically exclusive? How do you manage this tension?
