I attended Parkview from the 4th grade all the way up until the end of high school. I was a frequent attendee of Parkview’s middle school and High School youth group. My time in Parkview’s youth ministry was not only very memorable for me but foundational to what led me to work with Encounter. The leaders I had growing up in Parkview helped create a soft spot for what I would come to discover as young adult ministry in college. When I was at Parkview, I felt so loved and welcomed and it was always something I looked forward to each week. That is the same kind of impact that Encounter has had in my life and I am excited to continue to grow that moving forward.

I was a typical college student to say the least, away from home for the first time as a transfer student, and re-pursuing my faith. A classmate invited me to Encounter and the rest is history. Knowing how God worked in my life to bring me back to Him, and how crucial Encounter was in that is I am so passionate about this opportunity.

I am so grateful for God’s provision of genuine relationships in my life with people that care about me deeply, want to see me succeed, and want to help me grow in my walk with the Lord. These relationships are all products of Encounter.
