April was a really special month for PKVW Students.
We had multiple students step onto the stage and be part of our Easter choir, helping lead our church in worship. It was awesome seeing them use their gifts and be part of something bigger in such a meaningful service.
We also got to celebrate students taking a huge step in their faith by getting baptized on Easter. Those moments never get old. Hearing their stories and seeing them publicly declare what God is doing in their lives is always powerful for our whole church.
Outside of Sundays, we have loved showing up for students in all the other spaces they are in. From sporting events to school plays to concerts, there has been a lot to celebrate. It has been a great reminder that ministry is not just what happens at church. It is being present in their lives wherever they are.
We also had a chance to connect with parents this month through a parent meeting where we shared vision for the summer and the upcoming school year. We are excited about where things are heading and grateful for families who want to partner with us in what God is doing.
And we wrapped up the month with Encounter Night, which was an incredible way to gather as a ministry. It was a night full of energy, worship, and moments where students were able to encounter a God who loves them. These nights continue to be such an important part of what we do.
We are really thankful for all that God did in April and excited for what is ahead this summer.
