On August 26, 2021, IL Governor J.B. Pritzker issued an Executive Order mandating masks be worn at all indoor gatherings by everyone 2 years old and older.  That mask mandate remains in place. Although churches are exempt from the Executive Order, for the time being, Parkview’s staff, leaders and volunteers will be wearing masks indoors during our Sunday gatherings and we encourage everyone who attends to do the same.
Our prayer is for the pandemic to end and for the Executive Order to be rescinded sooner than later.  We also pray that we not allow masking to keep us apart. As we see it, our current cultural reality gives us all the more reason to come together for prayer, teaching and worship. In these complex and difficult days – in the words of the Apostle Paul, “Let us be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.”
I look forward to being with you on Sundays.
Grace and Peace,
Ray S. Kollbocker
Lead Pastor
